Fees depend on the location (travel fees apply) and number of signatures being notarized.

California Government Code section 8211 specifies the following fees that may be charged for notary public services. [See table below.]

Travel Fees:
0 – 5 miles from CSUF – $30*
6 – 20 miles from CSUF – $50*
21 + miles from CSUF – Call for a quote*

Powers of Attorney $15	Certifying a copy of a power of attorney under Probate Code section 4307
Veteran’s Benefits $0	United States military veteran’s application or claim for a pension, allotment, allowance, compensation, insurance, or any other veteran’s benefit (Government Code section 6107)
Immigration Forms $15 per individual for each set of forms	A notary public qualified and bonded as an immigration consultant may enter data, provided by the client, on immigration forms provided by a federal or state agency
